Summer Concert Series 2011
Presented by the Friends of Moseley Woods
Bring your family, bring a picnic, invite the neighbors. Moseley Woods Park announces it's seventh season of summer concerts, a series of four family-friendly events, all on Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30.
Come on down and enjoy the pine-scented air, the views of the river and some great music from these fantastic performers. Each of our shows promise to be a great time.

| Kick off the summer with local folksinger and songwriter Julie Dougherty who performs for the first time in the Moseley Woods Summer Concert series. As an added treat, Julie will perform with her husband, Woody Woodward, on bass. A long time favorite in coffee houses throughout Massachusetts, Julie is a versatile performer -covering everything from folk, to rock, to blues and more. You can catch her locally at The Grog in Newburyport, where she sings, plays and runs and Open Mike, as well. |

If you love Bluegrass, country, blues and Celtic music, then don't miss Tom Eaton and Pick 3 - a lively group of acoustic "pickers" and singers. This quartet of musicians includes Tom Eaton (guitar and vocals), Pat Conlon (mandolin, harmonica and vocals), Nick Aparo (bass and vocals) and Dana King (banjo and vocals). The members share their love for American roots music with audiences as close as Cape ann to New York to the Rocky Mountain region, as well as throughout Europe and the Caribbean. |

| This will be Newburyport firefighter Chris Richard's sixth year performing at the Moseley Woods Summer Concert Series. The popular, self-taught guitar player's acoustic rock is popular with all ages and Chris has said that he enjoys playing in the park as a way to bring the community together. His concerts usually include a fund-raiser for a special cause, so come to the concert and help out a worthy charity at the same time. |

All concerts are free admission, but they are fund-raisers for the park. Donations will be sought and will be used in their entirety for the upkeep and maintenance of the park.
